Data Deletion

You can delete your Gully Cricket account and data at any time, whether or not you still have the App installed.
Option 1 — delete in-app (fastest)
- Open Gully Cricket and sign in.
- On Home, tap your photo — Settings opens.
- At the foot of Settings, select Delete account.
- Confirm — and enter your password if your account has one.
Your account is switched off immediately and hidden from other users, then permanently deleted 30 days later. Changed your mind? Within those 30 days, create an account again with the same email address, or continue with the same Google account — the App then offers your old account back: choose Get my old account back and everything comes back as it was. After 30 days the deletion cannot be undone. (A guest account cannot be recovered: it has no email address or Google account to recognise you by.)
Option 2 — request deletion without the App
If you no longer have the App installed or can't sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify the request and complete it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your login credentials and account
- Your profile: name, phone number, date of birth, gender, country, profile photo
- The link from your Cricket ID and CricID to your account (your Cricket ID is never given to anyone else — the match records kept under it stay yours alone)
- Your friends list, saved teams, scheduled matches, notifications and career statistics
- Your push-notification token
What's retained, and why
Match records you scored or played in are kept after your account is deleted. Gully cricket matches are shared records — teammates and opponents rely on the scorecard staying intact, so match/ball-by-ball data isn't removed just because one participant deletes their account. The records are kept as they were recorded, so they still carry your name as shown on the scorecard, your Cricket ID, and an internal account code (a random string, not your name, email or phone number) showing which player you were and which matches you created, scored or recorded. That code no longer leads to an account once yours is deleted. Full detail is in Section 9 of the Privacy Policy.
You can ask us to remove your Cricket ID and account code from these records — email [email protected], and we will, unless we need them to deal with a dispute about a match.
If you specifically want a match record removed rather than just your account, contact us at [email protected] and we'll evaluate the request — for example if you were the only participant, or if all participants agree.
